Half Moon Acrylic Table with LED Light
Most wedding tables are designed to be surrounded on all sides. A half-moon table isn’t — its flat edge is meant to sit against something, which changes where and how it actually gets used.
This one (SKU TB-22) is molded clear acrylic with an integrated LED light base, shaped as a half circle rather than a full round or oval. The flat side goes against a wall, a stage backdrop, or another table section; the curved side faces the room.

Why the shape matters more than the material here
A full round or oval table needs open space on every side to make sense. A half-moon table is built for the opposite situation — tight against a stage front, pushed flush to a wall for a check-in or gift table, or paired with another half-moon to form a full circle when two events need to split and rejoin a layout. It’s a shape decision driven by room constraints, not just aesthetics.
Because the tabletop and base are both clear acrylic, the shape reads as a light, almost floating half-disc rather than a bulky wall-mounted surface — which matters when a venue doesn’t want a heavy piece crowding a backdrop or stage edge.
What the LED base is actually doing
Clear acrylic already catches and refracts ambient light on its own. The built-in LED base pushes that further — lighting the material from within so the whole table edge glows rather than just reflecting whatever’s around it. That’s a meaningfully different effect from a plain clear acrylic table lit by external event lighting:
- External lighting only reflects off the surface, so the table looks different depending on where the lights are pointed
- Internal LED lighting is consistent regardless of the room’s ambient lighting setup, which matters for evening receptions where light sources are limited and directional
Worth checking before ordering: confirm whether the LED base runs on battery or requires a wired power connection, since that determines where the table can physically be placed relative to an outlet.

- Ask about the LED unit’s charge duration or power draw if it’s battery-based; an evening reception running 4+ hours needs a base that lasts the full event without a mid-service swap
- Clear acrylic shows fingerprints and smudges quickly under LED backlighting specifically, since the light exaggerates surface marks that would go unnoticed under normal room lighting
- Confirm whether the flat edge is truly flush for wall-backing, or has a slight radius — this affects how tight the table sits against a backdrop or stage front
