Just imagine: guests spend only 40-60 minutes in the wedding ceremony area, while its decor is given the main attention, but on the decor of banquet tables it is often tempting to save money.
Beautiful decoration of the wedding table will show your respect and care for the guests because the way to their hearts lies not only through the stomach but also through food. The most delicious food loses its appeal if it is not presented and served beautifully.
Wedding table decor includes:
- Tablecloths or runners. Depending on the wedding concept and site features, textiles can completely cover the table, or can only serve as a stand for cutlery. It is recommended to open the table, leaving only a textile track (runner) on it, if the tables in the banquet hall are solid and stylish – made of natural wood or glass. If the table does not look like a self-sufficient design work, it is better to cover it completely with a tablecloth.
- Napkins and napkin rings. elegant fabric napkins emphasize the festiveness of the event, and the most demanding perfectionists like it when napkins are inserted into special rings. If the budget allows, you can order them with an individual design – for example, with your initials.
- Floral compositions. Flowers will make the atmosphere gentle and romantic. The palette and geometry of floral compositions on the banquet table must necessarily correspond to the concept of the holiday and harmoniously complement the arch and other flower arrangements in the ceremony area.
- Vases, candles, and souvenirs. Candles can become an important part of the decor, they will add coziness to the feast, and if you put them in vintage candelabra, they will give a touch of aristocratic luxury. Be sure to pay special attention to the vases – most often they are not visible, but if at least some part of the vase is visible, it is important that it does not give a cheap or tasteless impression. But such trifles as seashells, pebbles, and figurines can be appropriate at themed weddings.
- Stand dishes. Colored, glass, metal, or porcelain coasters are not just a plate stand, but a sign of good taste. Coaster plates, although they do not have any practical function, make the serving solemn and secular. Therefore, we do not recommend decorating a wedding table without coasters.
- Guest seating cards, menus, wedding printing. Wedding printing is often ordered “for beauty”, but in fact, it is not just a good tone and a nice detail that you just want to photograph. Seating cards are a real help for guests, telling them how to sit down and what to expect.

If you want beautiful chairs, but the furniture in the banquet hall or tent seems too ordinary for you, rent Chiavari chairs, transparent or golden. They will look elegant and modern!
- Bows on champagne bottles. Another hello from the past, which has no place in 2023. If you serve a bottle of good alcohol, then it speaks for itself, and you don’t need to decorate it with anything. Well, low-quality drinks and fake champagne will not fix any bows, they will only emphasize it.
